The Department of Tourism of Vietnam's capital has banned excursions on a railroad street popular with tourists. The reason was the increased danger. Despite regular accidents, travel agencies continued to organize excursions.

For many years, the narrow street in Hanoi, along which the railroad runs, was one of the most visited attractions in the city. To create spectacular photos, travelers risked their lives by stopping in front of an approaching train. The limited areas of the street made it impossible to avoid tragedy.

Hanoi authorities first tried to limit the exit to the tracks with barriers and warnings, but it did not help. The train drivers' signals also did not give any acceleration to selfies lovers.

Constant violations of railroad safety rules and accidents have caused a complete ban on the street. Violators face a fine.

Earlier on the favorite island of Russians introduced new rules for tourists.
