In the 17th round of the Russian Premier League PFC CSKA hosted Rubin Kazan on its field. The teams are neighbors in the standings, but they are separated by 5 points.
Earlier the rivals met in a cup match, then the Army men were stronger than the Kazans, achieving a resounding 3-0 victory.
The first half of the game was left to the visitors. Toward the end of the half on 43 minutes, Shabanhadjay put Daku one-on-one with Akinfeev with an accurate pass. The Rubin forward was accurate - 0:1.
In the second half it took less than 10 minutes for Kazan to double their lead. On 52 minutes, Teslenko scored a goal from Kabutov's pass - 0:2.
However, the home team was soon able to respond. In the 63rd minute Lukin seized the moment and was first on the ball - 1:2. Two minutes later Rubin were left in the minority, Kabutov was sent off for rough play.
The Kazan team couldn't keep a comfortable score. Already in added time, Army forward Lukin did a double and saved the team from defeat. The result was 2-2.
Earlier CSKA defeated Krylya Sovetov on the road, but lost to Rostov on their home field in the next round.
