The Ukrainian athlete said that “a little bit scrapes on my soul, because of the fact that I lost to this misunderstanding”. He also noted that he resents only himself.

According to the results of the competition in the long jump, Russian Evgeny Torsunov won the gold medal with a result of 5.83 meters and at the same time set a Paralympic record.

The silver medal went to Brazilian track and field athlete Aser Ramos, while Ukraine's Litvinenko won the bronze.

Earlier it was reported that an athlete from St. Petersburg won a silver medal in swimming at the Paralympics.

In her debut season at Indy NXT, Sophia Fleursch raced for HMD Motorsports. In the first race of the season, which was held in St. Petersberg, she took 12th place among 21 participants. However, according to the Racer publication, the cooperation between the racer and the team was interrupted due to disagreements with the main sponsor, which provided financial support to Fleursch.

The HMD Motorsports team said that the decision to part ways with Sophia Flörsch was made by mutual consent. The statement emphasized that the parties have maintained a good relationship and the team wishes Sofia success in her future endeavors.

HMD Motorsports is now actively looking for a new driver to replace Sofia Flörsch, who will drive the #24 car for the remaining 13 races of the season, as well as take part in the upcoming tests.

Sophia Flursh's departure from HMD Motorsports came as a surprise to fans of the Indy NXT Series. Her debut in the American racing series was marked by attention and expectations, but disagreements with her sponsor prevented the partnership from continuing.
