Svetlana Vislobokova, who presents herself as a historian and claims to be the great-granddaughter of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II, has been detained in the Russian capital. It is known that the 52-year-old woman is suspected of inciting hatred towards persons of Jewish nationality.

Vislobokova made insulting remarks about political figures of a certain nationality in the Internet, as well as called for confiscation of their property and deprivation of awards.

According to the Baza Telegram channel, a criminal case has been opened against the detainee under the articles providing for liability for actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity, humiliation of human dignity, as well as for public calls for extremist activity. A measure of restraint will be chosen for her in the near future.

Earlier, the Meshchansky court of Moscow decided to remand comedian Artemy Ostanin, accused of inciting hatred towards the participants of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. The stand-up comedian will remain in custody until mid-May. Ostanin gained notoriety after he made a foul-mouthed joke about an SVO veteran who had lost limbs. Before that, he also joked that the mothers of Russian soldiers should be given meat grinders.
