Scientists from Italy and Scotland have made an amazing discovery in the area of the pyramids of Giza. Using modern radar technology SAR, researchers have revealed under the ancient monuments traces of a whole city full of mysteries and secrets.
According to Professor Corrado Malanga, under the pyramids found a lot of long tunnels, the length of which is counted in kilometers. Scientists can not yet establish neither the time of their creation, nor determine the builders of these mysterious structures. It is noteworthy that until recently Egyptologists were convinced in the absence of any voids under the pyramids.
In the course of the project “Khafra” researchers have revealed the presence of several vertical shafts 650 meters deep each. Around each shaft were found spiral staircases, the purpose of which remains a mystery.
One of the working hypotheses suggests that these wells could be part of an ancient water supply system. However, many mysteries of the underground city still remain unsolved.
