Petersburg Metro State Unitary Enterprise is looking for a contractor who will be able to monitor the infrastructure of the intelligent tracking system covering all stations. The starting price of this state contract is 33.9 million rubles. At the end of the tender, the winner will have to maintain this tracking system for the next two years.

The system itself was developed by Aspect North-West JSC, and the contract for its implementation was signed back in 2022. The same company is responsible for the development of the smart camera infrastructure. By the end of 2024, smart cameras will be installed in 65 out of 72 stations. The remaining ones will be equipped with them by the middle of 2025.

The Baltiyskaya metro station will soon start major repairs, but they will be carried out at night and will not affect its operating mode.

By the end of 2024, buses, streetcars and subways in St. Petersburg will be able to pay for travel using the Podorozhnik app.
