A police raid to detect violations by couriers took place in St. Petersburg

This was reported in the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs. As a result of the event, several people who violated the rules of being in the country were found. The police also checked 200 electric motorcycles.

The press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region reported that on March 24, the second stage of the police raid against couriers began, which resulted in the identification of 13 illegal immigrants. All of them were sent to a special center for foreigners. Nine of them will be banned from entering Russia for several years.

In total, the police checked 200 courier mopeds, and 160 of them were found to have various violations. Their battery power exceeded 1,000 watts. And for this you already need to own a category “M” driver's license. Also none of them wore helmets, which are required by the rules. Such couriers were fined from 6500 to 16500 rubles.

Recently, the police came to Apraksin Dvor to help demolish stalls and also checked the documents of migrants.

The premises of one of St. Petersburg's thermal power plants will be converted into a concert hall.
