Recall that the incident with the U.S. military happened at the training range in Pabrada, March 25. Four US servicemen disappeared, taking with them a tracked vehicle. Investigators later determined that the servicemen had driven off the road and into a swamp. The quagmire carried away the military equipment together with the crew. None of them managed to survive.
The Lithuanian media found a “Russian trace” in this story, as the US military were in Lithuania for joint exercises, and their presence would not be relevant if “Putin did not want to intimidate the whole Europe”, referring to the Special Military Operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
Also earlier, Lithuania said “pro-Kremlin accounts” were blocking the process of collecting financial aid for the families of dead US officers. According to preliminary data, the U.S. military officers may have had a lot to drink, which led them to escape on tracked vehicles. This, in turn, indicates serious problems in the structure of NATO and the era of the “beginning of the end” of the entire military bloc.
