“Time capsule” for two million: in Russia put up for sale VAZ-2108

On the vastness of the Russian Internet appeared an announcement that can surprise even the most sophisticated car enthusiasts and collectors: for sale is offered hatchback VAZ-2108, which came off the assembly line in the distant 1989, and, according to the owner, preserved in near-perfect condition, “as if just out of the factory shop”. For this piece of history they ask for 1,799,000 rubles - an amount quite sufficient for the purchase of a modern car.

This VAZ-2108 has not the slightest flaws, all its components are original, including the smallest details, and the seats are still covered with the factory protective film. It is especially emphasized that the car was intentionally not subjected to pre-sale preparation to maximize its authenticity and collector value.

Under the hood of the “rarity copy” is a 1.3-liter gasoline engine, developing 64 horsepower, combined with a manual transmission. Odometer readings show a symbolic mileage of only 500 kilometers.

The seller emphasizes that for safe and full operation will require a full set of routine maintenance work, as well as the purchase and installation of a battery and high-voltage wires.
