According to a study by the service Hotel Advisor, since the beginning of 2025, the average cost of a hotel room in Petersburg has increased by 13.8%. And tonight the hotel will cost an average of 8200 rubles. The most expensive rooms in five-star hotels - 18% and now are 12,500 rubles. Four-star ones have increased by 15% to 7800 rubles, and three-star ones by 9.5% to 5100 rubles.

According to the publication «Business Petersburg», rising prices occur against a background of declining demand for hotels. Their occupancy fell by 2.1% and now stands at only 68%. Despite this, the business owners were able to increase the profits from the issue by 13% due to higher prices. But with inflation, the revenues of the hotel business have hardly increased. The trend is that prices will continue to go up and occupancy will fall.
